Mueller in Austin, Texas is prominently featured as an example of native plantings, an urban animal habitat and water conservation efforts by The New York Times. Catellus efforts to engage local resources to establish a 30-acre restoration of the endangered Blackland Prairie ecosystem has created an outdoor classroom and example of how native plantings can create regenerative landscapes.
