Shane Yoder, Vice President of Construction for Catellus Development Corporation, is responsible for the planning, design, and construction of all horizontal improvements for the Novus Innovation Corridor in Tempe, Arizona. Novus is the 355-acre redevelopment of Arizona State University’s Athletic Facilities District and involves converting aging athletic venues into a vibrant, pedestrian-oriented, mixed-use commercial development while working with ASU to relocate aging athletic venues to new, innovative, world-class facilities in a master-planned Athletics Village within Novus.

Mr. Yoder works closely on a daily basis with Arizona State University and the City of Tempe. He works with the planners, civil engineers, architects, and contractors to construct the horizontal infrastructure necessary for all Novus development needs. He oversees all wet and dry utiltiies, stormwater management and retention, landscape, street improvements, environmental, and geotechnical operations.

Prior to joining Catellus in 2017, Mr. Yoder was with Scottsdale-based DMB Associates, Inc., for 15 years from 2002 to 2017. He was a Senior Construction Manager and was responsible for all site-related construction activities on an 8,800-acre project called Verrado along with other DMB projects within the valley. He was involved in all design and managed the construction of the community infrastructure, golf courses, drainage and retention systems, parks and open spaces, roadways, water and waste water, and dry utilities necessary to deliver turnkey lots to home builders within the community.

Mr. Yoder holds a Class A General Engineering Construction License in Arizona.
