Texas Mutual Insurance Companies relocated its headquarters bringing 750 employees to Mueller, one of the nation’s most notable mixed-use communities in the heart of Austin, Texas. Catellus served as the vertical developer for the four-story building located in Mueller’s town center district, Aldrich Street, across from a 3.5-acre park. Proximity to shopping, living, and recreation along with sustainable design were high priorities for the new building.

The 270,000-square-foot build-to-suit office features 20,000 square feet of ground-floor retail utilizing an abundance of natural light and unobstructed views of downtown from the top floor. Beginning construction in 2017, the building was completed in October 2018. The building is LEED Gold certified and prioritizes the pedestrian experience with a parking structure designed for complete underground loading facilities.

Ground-floor retail includes local favorites Kerbey Lane Café, Rebel Cheese, and the Primrose School of Austin.
